The world and society are changing thanks to technology. The convergence and applicability of this technology in the health field gives rise to an opportunity called Digital Health. A new world is opening up: genomics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, APPs, Wireless Sensors, Social Networks, Diagnostic Imaging, Information and Communication Systems, Expert Patients, etc.
All this technology does not represent the future but the present, and health professionals must not be unaware of this revolution, because this is what society demands and patients and professionals will be an active part of the change.
This programme is aimed at professionals who work in the health sector, whether they are doctors or managers.
It is particularly for professionals who have management responsibilities and have to make decisions based on the support of new innovative tools.
This programme will provide training in connected health systems, valid for all those who wish to increase their level of skills and degree of training in digital health, private sector professionals in the field of marketing or private management.

Expert consultant in healthcare, with more than fifteen years’ experience in the health and ICT market as Business Consultant and Project Management, leading major transformation processes associated with the development of innovative and technological services, carrying out innovative projects, business development, strategy and access plans in medical devices and real world data & big data information systems, medicine and personalized care. Specializing in the transformation of digital ecosystems, processes of change and improvement in health systems. Leading the ICT strategic definition of Health Systems and the modernization of public health networks, digital strategies and interoperability platforms, reengineering and design of clinical processes, data analysis and KPI development. Development and implementation of Telemedicine and m-Health projects, Electronic Health Record, R+D+i. LEAD Master’s degree in Leadership and Transformation of Organizations and Health Systems from the Deusto Business School.
Manager of the Information Systems Coordination Department in the Andalusian Health Service. He was deputy medical director at the Reina Sofia University Hospital for 4 years, being in charge of a large number of the Healthcare IT projects. In addition, he was responsible for the areas of outpatient consultations, diagnosis, appointments and coordination with Primary Care as well as prison services. Expert in eHealth, mHealth, mobile devices, usability and user interfaces, free software, social media and web tools. Medical specialist in Family Medicine. Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology and Systems Management for Health from the Escuela Nacional de Salud. Master's degree in Healthcare IT from City University London, graduating with special honours for his project: "Assessment of a free software electronic health record". Expert in Health Management from the Escuela Andaluza de Salud Pública. Expert in Direction, Management and Technological Applications from the University of Alcalá de Henares. Guest lecturer at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática in Seville and former guest lecturer at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Director of Public Sector for Everis in Andalusia, Canary Islands and Extremadura. Expert in Digital Governance, he has more than 15 years’ experience in consultancy, design and implementation of digital transformation projects in the field of Public Administrations, both nationally and internationally. With a strong commitment to the establishment of links between the University and business, he has been leading the relationship between the multinational consulting firm and the academic world for the last decade, participating as a lecturer in the GTIC Master's Degree at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática of the University of Seville. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Seville.
Director of Digital Health Business Development for Southern Europe at Tunstall Healthcare. She previously worked as a member of the operational committee of the integrated care strategy of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Member of boards and committees of various initiatives such as the board of directors of the Sociedad Catalana de Salud Digital, the panel of international experts to advise Scottish digital strategy for health and welfare, or the Advisory Board of the EU InnovCare project, among others. She has worked in the management of social services. She was also an associate lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy at the University of Vic and still teaches in various institutions. She holds a Social Education degree from the University of Barcelona, an Educational Psychology degree from the University of Vic, and a Master’s degree in Public Services Management from the Escuela de la Administración Pública de Cataluña.
